First Generation Matching Grant

The First Generation Matching Grant Program (FGMG) is a need-based grant program available to degree-seeking, resident, undergraduate students who demonstrate substantial financial need, and are enrolled in eligible participating postsecondary institutions. Eligible students have a parent(s) who has not earned a baccalaureate or higher degree. Participating institutions determine application procedures, deadlines, student eligibility and award amount. This program is available at Florida state universities and Florida colleges (public community colleges).

Open Scholarship for Students

The Cohen & Jaffe Law Office Scholarship

The Cohen & Jaffe Law Office would like to offer a great scholarship opportunity to students. This scholarship was created to assist education costs for graduating seniors entering their first year of undergrad.

One applicant will be awarded a $1000 scholarship for first prize, one applicant will be awarded $500 for runner-up, and three applicants will be awarded $250 for honorable mention. Scholarship award recipients will be notified of the selection on or before June 1, 2018.

Students eligible will be asked to write a one-page essay of no less than 500 and no more than 750 words on one of three topics found on the scholarship page; which can be found below:


Completed applications must be submitted no later than April 2, 2018

Chipley Woman's Club Scholarship

The Chipley Woman’s Club will be awarding two scholarships this year to 2018 graduating seniors from Chipley High School. The application packets for these $1000 scholarships are located in the Guidance Counselor’s office at the school.  Seniors are encouraged to complete these applications and return to the same office by April 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM.
